A gang sheet builder for your Shopify store
Link the builder from your Shopify product pages and let customers build a sheet, see the price update as they fill it, and check out in your own Shopify cart. You get a press-ready file in your queue.
How it connects to Shopify
You keep your Shopify store exactly as it is. The builder is linked from the product pages you want to sell as gang sheets, and it carries your branding rather than ours.
When a customer finishes a sheet, it is handed to the Shopify cart as a line item priced from the sheet size and what is on it. From there the customer checks out the way they would with any other product in your store, through your existing Shopify payment setup.
- Your product pages. the builder is reached from the products you choose, so your catalogue and navigation stay yours.
- Live pricing. the sheet is priced per square inch as it is built, so the cart total matches what the customer just designed.
- Your Shopify checkout. payment, taxes and shipping continue to run through Shopify exactly as they do now.
- Your production queue. the paid order arrives with its press-ready file attached, named for production.
Nothing about your Shopify checkout changes. Buildaur handles the design, the pricing maths and the print file; Shopify keeps handling the money.
What your Shopify customers get
The builder is the part your customer actually judges you on, so it carries real design tools rather than an upload box with a price underneath.
- Text in your fonts. a full text tool, with you controlling which fonts are available.
- Names and numbers. roster work laid out from a list, instead of placing every jersey by hand.
- A design library. customers keep artwork in a searchable library with folders, so repeat orders start from a file they already uploaded.
- Artwork cleanup. background removal and AI upscale in the builder, at the moment a bad file is still cheap to fix.
- A live resolution reading. every placed image shows its effective print resolution as it is resized, with a warning before a low-resolution sheet can be generated.
- Automatic nesting. artwork is packed into the sheet efficiently, with a manual mode for customers who want to place it themselves.
Selling on Shopify and on marketplaces
If you list on Etsy or eBay as well, those listings can route buyers back to your own product page to customise and check out. The marketplace brings the traffic, your Shopify store takes the order, and every sale lands in the same production queue with a print file.
Wholesale through Faire syncs in the same way, with files generated automatically and inventory kept matched between Faire and your storefront.
Common questions
Do I need to change my Shopify theme?
No. The builder is linked from your product pages rather than rebuilt into your theme, so a theme update cannot break it and you can keep the storefront you already designed.
Where do customers pay?
In your Shopify checkout, with your existing payment providers. The finished sheet is handed to the Shopify cart as a line item and behaves like any other product from that point on.
How is the sheet priced?
By area, using the sheet sizes and the per-square-inch rate you set. DTF and UV DTF run as separate products with their own sizes and pricing, so a sticker sheet is never sold at textile transfer pricing by accident.
What file do I get when an order comes in?
A transparent press-ready PNG at the correct resolution, sized to your sheet dimensions and named for production with the order number, sheet size, count and customer. It is validated before it reaches your queue.
Can customers save a design and come back?
Yes. Customers save an in-progress sheet to their account, pick it up later, and reorder it outright when they need the same thing again.
