Refund and Return Policy

This Refund and Return Policy explains how Buildaur LLC ("Buildaur," "we," "us," or "our") handles refunds and cancellations for our subscription Service, and clarifies how refunds work for custom orders placed through Buildaur-powered builders.

1. Buildaur Subscription Fees

1.1 General Rule — Non-Refundable.

Buildaur subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable, including for partial months or unused portions of a paid term. This includes monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, prepaid plans, add-ons, and overage charges.

1.2 Cancellation.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by emailing support@buildaur.app. Cancellation stops auto-renewal at the end of the current billing period; you will continue to have access until the end of the period you've already paid for. We do not pro-rate refunds for early cancellation.

1.3 Failed Payment — Immediate Suspension.

If a scheduled payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds, declined transaction, or chargeback), your access is suspended immediately, with no grace period. Your Business Client account information and order metadata are preserved indefinitely so you can recover the account by curing the failed payment. Design canvas data and production files associated with individual orders remain subject to the three-hundred-sixty-five-day (365) retention window described in Section 3.5 of the Master Terms of Service — failed payment does not extend or reset that window. We will not issue refunds, credits, or compensation for any losses, missed orders, lost revenue, or production delays caused by a suspension resulting from failed payment. 1.4 Limited Exceptions.

We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or credit in the following circumstances:

1.5 Chargebacks.

Please contact support@buildaur.app before initiating a chargeback so we can attempt to resolve any billing dispute directly. Chargebacks for fees you actually owe may result in account suspension and a $35 chargeback recovery fee, in addition to amounts owed.

2. Custom Orders Placed Through a Builder

Buildaur is the software platform, not the seller. Custom orders placed through a Buildaur-powered builder are sold by the merchant operating the website. Refunds, returns, exchanges, and customer service for those orders are between you and the merchant. Please review the merchant's own refund and return policy.

2.1 No Buildaur Refund for Custom Products.

Buildaur does not produce, ship, or sell physical products and does not collect, hold, or remit funds for End Customer orders. Buildaur cannot and will not issue refunds, store credit, or replacements for any custom product, regardless of whether the issue stems from a misprint, sizing problem, color shift, file conversion artifact, exported builder data, or any other cause.

2.2 No Reimbursement of Merchants for Production Errors.

As stated in the Master Terms of Service, Buildaur will not reimburse Business Clients (Merchants) for the cost of materials, labor, reprints, replacement product, refunds, store credit, chargebacks, or shipping incurred in connection with a defective, incorrect, or rejected order, regardless of the order's dollar value. The Super Admin is responsible for verifying every order before production.

3. Suggested Language for Merchant Advance / Sale Orders

Some Merchants permit End Customers to pre-pay during sales without immediately submitting their custom artwork. Where the Merchant chooses to incorporate the following language into their End Customer-facing refund policy, the language below is suggested (Merchants may adopt, edit, or omit it at their discretion):

"Advance and sale orders must be submitted in full (artwork, files, and final order details provided) within seven (7) days of purchase. Orders not submitted within seven (7) days are eligible for store credit only — no cash refunds will be issued. This applies to all orders, including those placed during sales or promotional pricing. By completing your purchase, you agree to these terms."
